AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF AFRICAN YOUTH DEVELOPMENT ALLIANCE
*To come up with defined means of facilitating moblilsation of internal and external resources for all Youth Organisation/Network Development in Africa
* To have a United Front on issues of Global importance to the African Youths/Youth Organisation/Network
*To develop plans and policy-making procedures that will facilitate partnership and cooperation betwwen Government and the United Nations in Social Development of Africa.
*To join forces in designing and carrying out comprehensive and coordinated programmes that will stimulates the resourcesfulness of Youth,preparing them for durable employment or self-empolyment and providing them with guidance,vocational and management training
*To strenghten implementation and monitoring mechanisms,includingarrangements for the particicpation of civil society in policy-making and implementation and collaboration with international organisations

ORGANS OF THE AFRICAN YOUTH DEVELOPMENT ALLIANCE
The organs of the Alliance shall comprise of:
1.THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY
2.THE SECRETARIAT
3.THE ECONONIC AND SOCIAL COUNCIL
The specialised Agencies shall include:
1. EDUCATION AND CULTURAL COMMISSION
2. ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL COMMISSION
3. HEALTH,SANITATION AND NUTRITION COMMISSION
4. DEFENSE COMMISSION
5. SCIENTIFIC,TECHNICAL AND RESEARCH COMMISSION
6. MEDIATION,CONCILIATION & ARBITRATION COMMISSION
